“Well, by the looks of me, I already weigh 300 pounds!” Maggie said with a little laugh.

“Okay, fair enough, but you know you’re a beautiful 300 pounds,” I said.

And with that I heard a big “Aww, that’s so sweet!” from the kitchen and then I heard Maggie say, “You deserve a big hug for that and if I could give you a big hug, I would!”

I laughed. “Well, let’s give it a try!”

We both met in the hall and there was my Maggie, as big as a house, with flour in her hair and on her face, and I’d never seen her so happy and alive and absolutely gorgeous. We gave each other the best hug we could and as I patted her tummy she said, “I have a good feeling about tonight.”

Looking deep into her eyes, I said, “I do too, honey, I do too.”

We kissed and tried for that big hug.

Maggie then gave her best cow impression and said, “Moo, moo!”

We both cracked up and kissed again.

“You know you’re pretty cute for a cow!”
